Acrylics - an old enemy. It went quite well, though. I just can't get used to the colours drying on the palette while I am musing about where to put folds.

I had the idea for this painting when I was brainstorming for motives for Christmas greeting cards. It's actually a rather more seasonal picture, though, fitting the motto of "Season's Greetings". There are no religious motives coming from me for christmas anyway.
So, two women (I hope that is recognisable.) who are skating in a Christmas bauble. I chose the title because the depicted things are all fragile - glass baubles, ice, happiness.

Acrylfarben - ein alter Feind. Es lief aber eigentlich ganz gut. Ich kann mich nur einfach nicht daran gewöhnen, dass mir die Farben auf der Palette eintrocknen, während ich darüber nachdenke, wie Falten verlaufen.

Die Idee für das Bild ist mir bei einem Brainstorming für Weihnachtskartenmotive gekommen. Eigentlich ist sie aber gar nicht weihnachtlich sondern eher winterlich, passt also zum Motto "Season's Greetings". Religiöse Motive gibt es bei mir zu Weihnachten eh nicht.
Also zwei Frauen (ich hoffe, das kann man erkennen, hust), die in einer gläsernen Christbaumkugel Schlittschuh fahren. Beim Titel geht es darum, dass die gezeigten Dinge eben alle zerbrechlich sind - Glaskugeln, Eis, Glück.
